The Skinny Chocolate Chip, Oat and Banana Cookie.

This recipe for skinny chocolate chip, oat and banana cookies might have a long name but has a short ingredients list.

To make nine cookies you will need two medium sized bananas and around 85g of porridge oats. But this does depend on the size of your bananas, you may need a few more oats but just match the photos below for consistency.

First pre-heat the oven to around 180, chop and mash your bananas, putting them in the microwave for around 30 seconds will help you mash them a little easier.

Once mashed pour in the oats and mix until it looks a little something like this.

At this point you can either make into cookies and bake or you could add a little extra.

I chose to add chocolate chips into mine, but you could add raisins, any dried fruit, chopped nuts, seeds, fudge bits, honeycomb bits... this list could go on.

Mix in your chosen flavor and then spoon out little dollops of the mix onto a cookie tray that either has baking parchment on it or is well greased.

Put in the oven for around 15 minutes and that is it. Each cookie with chocolate chips in has around 67 calories.

Ideal for a cosy afternoon with a cup of tea.
