Soup, Made By Mum.

Today is a recipe from mum. It's the soup she always makes and I love it. I thought you might like it too. It's a good spring time meal. Looks like spring, but is still warming for the less than spring time weather. 



To make a big pan full, about 6 bowls you will need:
2 potatoes, (sorry there is three in the photo, I've failed you).
3 leeks,
3 carrots,
1 dessert spoon of gravy granules, we used chicken but to make it veggie use vegetable gravy granules.
1 chicken OXO, again use the veggie alternative, 
1 chicken stock cube, again use the veggie alternative. 


First wash, peel and chop the veg up into chunks. Put in a large pan. 



Add the stock cube and the OXO crunched and chopped up so they dissolve easily. 


Cover with boiling water and leave for 30 minutes on a medium to low heat, just so that it simmers. 


Add the gravy granules and leave for a further 5 minutes and stir them all in. 



Add that is that, simple and tasty. Thanks mum.
