Asparagus wrapped in Parma ham.

This is a really quick one the title pretty much says it all. It's asparagus wrapped in Parma ham.

I used two packets of asparagus and two packets of Parma ham.

First blanch the asparagus, put it into boiling water for two minutes and then plunge it into cold water and pat dry with kitchen towel.

Then cut each piece of Parma ham in half length ways and wrap around the asparagus.

Place onto a baking tray covered in grease proof paper.

Then place in a very hot oven for 5-10 minutes.

Take them out and stack them up. They make a great starter, side dish or canapé. Perfect for spring summer and asparagus is in season now so get them while they are fresh and local to our shores.
