Last weekend we went to the Olympic stadium to watch the anniversary games, three days of athletics to mark the anniversary of the start of the London Olympics last year. We went on the Saturday. So saw sporting starts such as Jess Ennis-Hill, Christine Ohuruogu, Mo Farah and Usain Bolt.

We arrived, got to our seats and had some lunch that we bought from Waterloo, I'm so glad we bought food from outside the stadium because the choice was unhealthy and very cheap looking but for a very expensive price with very little choice on what you could have. I got my favourite M&S salad, hot oak smoked salmon with new potatoes, cucumber and spinach. So tasty! I also chose a limited edition drink to celebrate the royal baby called 'pear to the throne' a mix of pear and raspberry, yum.

Pole vault.

400m men's hurdles.

Jess Ennis-Hill, long jump.

Christine Ohuruogu won the 400m.

Mo Farah won the 3000m.

I am so glad that I got the opportunity to go inside the Olympic stadium as last year we went to see the hockey at the Olympic Park and really wanted to go inside the stadium. The weather was great and we had good seat so it was great to see all the athletes up close. I did find it a bit hard to focus on each event as there are about four events happening at the same time so it can get a bit confusing at times as to who you are clapping!
